Addition & Renovation for Cara Stone Law Firm

In January 2021, Mayer completed a new rear addition and general renovation for Cara Stone, a lean, top-tier law firm in the heart of the Magazine Street commercial corridor. The work included renovation of the existing building with new HVAC, roof, solid wood floors and and finishes along with a maxxed out rear addition to accommodate the firm’s growth in offices, break room, bathroom, and executive suite. Rejecting the usual, tired decoration of other conventional law practices, the owners’ finishes selections are inviting, comfortable and bespoke. Balanced color palette, light oak flooring and significant use of clear glass in doors and sidelights give Cara Stone’s mission statement a physical embodiment. “Cara Stone is a gathering place of lawyers who support work together and provide comfort, support and rock solid advice to our clients.” Thanks to owners for enthusiastic support.
