n the summer of 2018, MBC completed a new behavioral clinic on Tulane Avenue for Crescent Care. The project, designed by SCNZ, included a new lobby, entrance, bathrooms, triage room, therapy rooms and offices on this third floor space. We installed new acoustic treatments, window treatments, finishes and specialty millwork to create the comfortable (and branded) space for this new clinic. In July 2018, Mayer Building Company completed a significant overhaul of the Metropolitan Human Services Division flagship clinic at 2221 Philip Street in Central City. The new finishes throughout included new flooring, paint, and ceilings. We added private billing and consultation rooms with sound attenuation considerations, insulation, and glass doors and transoms. HVAC and electrical followed of course. We added new security, pharmacy and work stations of custom millwork matching the MHSD brand. The scope of work was done AT NIGHT while the clinic OPERATED throughout the renovations during the day. Work was performed by Mayer Building Company in a clean, safe, fast manner. NO change orders except for one minor unforeseen demolition item. Thanks to the great roster of subcontractors here, Terrell-Fabacher Architects, Feldmeier Galyean (Owner’s Rep) and especially MHSD Management Team.

The work included a new reception area, renovated men’s and women’s locker rooms, a new clinical area, a re-dressed tea garden with stone face fountain and brick ramp. Mayer Building Company is pleased to announce the May 2016 successful completion of the structural and high-end interior construction for New Orleans’ first Cycle Bar.This project consisted of interior and structural improvements for the Cycle Bar and some base building improvements for the building owner performed concurrently. The Cycle Bar hired Mayer Building Company to install all new underground and above ground mechanical systems, new electrical systems and fire alarm, meticulously designed sound attenuation systems and of course the branded finishes to achieve the Cycle Bar experience.Prior to commencing the work, Mayer Building Company participated in crafting the value-engineered budget. Actual construction was performed in accordance with third-party and bank auditing in order to meet the client’s goals. The project was delivered on time with very minimal punch list.
