This winter MBC completed a simple, clean restoration of a shotgun double in the heart of Mid City. We restored the front facade and replace the rest of the exterior: cementious siding, new architectural shingle roof and decking and new clad windows. We rehabilitated this building with much of the of the historic character left in place. We salvaged all doors, mantels, hearths, transoms, floors, rim locks, attic clerestory window and much of the trim. While these aspects were carefully restored, we updated the two apartments to include all new plumbing, electrical, central AC, new kitchens and laundries, composite deck-boards, gutters and downspouts, closet space and pantries
