In April, just before French Quarter Fest, the Mayer Building Company team delivered a compact, but finely detailed kitchen and bath renovation to a French Quarter condominum residence on Royal Street. Our clients, from Atlanta, Georgia, expected a highly discriminating finish package, a premium appliance set, and a number of top-notch accents. We delivered all. In the kitchen, we installed a new oak floor, custom stained to match the outer chambers, a maximum amout of glazed and LED-lit cabinets with 3cm honed Carrera marble coutertops and full backsplash, inspired cabinet pulls, super attractive fixtures and fittings, a new water-heater with an innovative emergency shut-off, and cutting-edge appliances including a drainless ice maker. In the bath, we built a luxurious walk-in shower, tiled stem to stern with a contemporary look and a stone scrolled vanity for the paramount amount of use and storage. The well appointed bath includes a sleeek water closet, and undermount lavatory and crown molding. We installed a new lighting package throughout.
