At the Port of South Louisiana, the premier sea gateway for U.S. export and import traffic, which stretches 54 miles along the Mississippi River, the largest tonnage port district in the western hemisphere, Mayer Building Company was pleased to be awarded a publicly bid project in the winter of 19/20. The work, which included demolition and improvements to an existing warehouse was designed and administered by Linfield Hunter & Junius, Inc. It was completed in March 2020 with a minor punch-list. We were even able to save PSL a little money during the closeout period with some extras. We thank the PSL & LHJ teams for a successful team-player approach and can’t wait to do it again.
