Sound Deadening Ceiling for Tulane

At the new NOCHI building, where the Freeman School at Tulane expanded in 2018, there was a ruckus overhead some of the key offices. On the 5th Floor there’s a full commercial catering kitchen, and below are a handful of Tulane office spaces and work areas. Well, just imagine the food prep, cooking and scullery noise behind those swinging doors at your favorite restaurant. Now imagine them in the floor above you when you’re at your desk. With the help of EDR, and the Tulane Campus Services executive, Mayer Building Company successfully delivered a project that you hardly notice. We installed a new sound deadening ceiling system and accouterments per the designers and worked in all the overhead systems to accommodate the same (sprinkler, lights, low voltage, you name it…).
