Alon Medical Technology distributes Arthrex orthopedic and orthobiologic products to surgeons throughout Louisiana and Mississippi. Alon’s goals of excellent customer service and educational opportunities via our state-of-the-art training labs, expansive video library, and customized educational events helped shaped this Design-Build project from pre-construction to completion. Mayer Building Company, with the help of Garrity & Accardo Architects, completed the full renovation work of Metairie office and warehouse in the early months of 2022.
In the spring of 2018, Mayer Building Company, LLC completed an office/ historic project for Windy Hill Pictures, a New Orleans film production company. The work at 5707 Magazine Street, formerly Blue Fog Chocolates included finishes, mechanical and electrical and facade renovations. We salvaged the old pine floors, old wood windows, exposed the old masonry and created a new dynamic office space that replaced the “slat-wall decor” of the chocolate retailer. We updated the ceilings and bath and breakrooms and installed new HVAC, lighting, and plumbing systems. We built Windy Hill a block and stucco planter and repaired the old facade openings and shutters.
In May 2016, Mayer Building Company, LLC completed exterior repairs and a new paint job for the French Quarter Realty building on the corner of Esplanade and Rampart. Just in time for the new streetcar line, this project was completed on a very tight budget and very quick schedule. Mayer Building Company, LLC met will all historic society compliance and delivered this work without affecting FQR’s ongoing occupancy.
Mayer Building Company, LLC completed a small tenant build-out for the Suzanne Perron dress design studio. We installed a new door and frame, section of clean ceiling, new lights and a bit of trim carpentry. The paintworks were done at an accelerated pace. We fabricated some major custom shelving and racks for the gown making business. Besides the shelving and racks, the “white box” space did not need much for Suzanne to take this space and put it to good work.
At the end of the summer 2015, Mayer Building Company, LLC completed an office expansion and overall office finishes update for the New Orleans office of Pond & Company. Located in the Rault Building, Pond, atop ENR engineering firm, required local expansion. Mayer Building Company, LLC integrated neighboring offices in the Metairie tower to include a new glass conference room, two new executive offices, a sharp new reception, and entry foyer, a break room, a server closet, and a new work/ supply space. At the same time, Mayer Building Company, LLC renovated many of the finishes in the older (existing) space with minimal interruption to Pond’s occupancy.
During December of 2014, Mayer Building Company, LLC completed the full restoration and code updates to 1000 North Broad Street in on the border of the Treme and Esplanade Ridge neighborhoods. This building is now our headquarters. It also houses two commercial tenants. The work included storefront and facade restoration, new security, fire alarm, IT, and MEP systems. We salvaged old floors and the mid-century bathroom tiles. We installed new lights and new finishes inside and out. We dressed the facade with louvered Bahama shutters and a roof deck with custom iron rails.
Recently our commercial construction project came to a successful completion, and we are open for business. I appreciate the efforts of Mayer Building Company in getting my premium coffee shop open early.

I was concerned about doing a renovation at a place that was many states away from where I lived. I needed someone that I could count on and could handle every aspect of the renovation.
