Last year, Mayer Building Company embarked on a large waterproofing project in the French Quarter. With the intrepid assistance of the Condo Board at Los Islenos (1029 Esplanade) and Metro Studio, Mayer Building Company removed and replaced the failing stucco and failing substrate with new substrates, weep systems, flashings and synthetic stucco. We salvaged all the windows and doors and did our best to work with the many homeowners present. The project was underway as Ida struck and completed in August 2022.
Recently our commercial construction project came to a successful completion, and we are open for business. I appreciate the efforts of Mayer Building Company in getting my premium coffee shop open early.
