Designed by Logan Killen Interiors, this full renovation of a French Quarter condo included plenty of salvage work, a number of notable details and lots of creativity. The complete residence includes a terra-cotta and plaster decorated master bathroom with a mirrored panel wet wall, a kitchen with exposed roof rafters and adjacent powder and shower room, a master bedroom with reclaimed cypress floorboards, an attic loft leading to a dormer and roof space. Mayer Building Company fabricated many custom items for this project as well. We built and installed a custom mirrored bookcase, an interior arched transom, a sink stand, a landing designed for structure concealment. We performed specialty brick work and masonry fireplace restoration. We hung reclaimed doors throughout in unconventional manners; we hung antique chandeliers and an old garden fountain for a lavatory. This project was interesting and fun.
